Sounds like a case of the Muundays....
I hope everyone enjoyed the week 15 NFL action as The Visionary bumped his NFL roll up to almost 50 units. After a dominating 5-1 (+12.7 unit) Sunday, I have another big Monday Night Football total play. I really really like this one tonight. I was planning on playing this at 4-units, and yesterday Willmore asked the question,
"If you have the Monday night play already, why not post it now as well, unless you expect the lines to move favorably in the next 24 hours."
The reason I didn't post it...is because I wanted to see how my Sunday card panned out....as now I am going to play this one at 5-units. I don't regularly let my previous results effect the next day's action. But, after picking up 13 units on Sunday and (easily) hitting my 5-unit total yesterday in the Sunday Night Football game, I will throw an extra unit out there on this one. Let's see if we can get that NFL roll up to +50 units. That would be a very nice mark at a 1 to 5 unit rating system. It's hard to do much better then 50-75 units in a football season (@ 1 to 5 unit plays). If I finished the 2008 NFL season (or any other season) at +75 units or more, one would be crazy not to consider it an extremely successful year.
I also have a 3-unit NBA side, along with a 2-unit side in the Monday nighter. That's all for Monday evening and I will catch you all on Tuesday with some more college and NBA hoops...
I am telling you guys, you are all going to really miss football in just a few short weeks. Start planning to make your summer an enjoyable one. Baseball gets worse and worse every year Bud Selig runs the game.
NBA Plays & Week 15's Monday Night Football Picks:
(Visionary's daily free sports picks are rated on a 1 to 5 unit scale)
Pick: Browns @ Eagles Over 39 (NFL)
Value: 5 Unit Play
Pick: Boston Celtics -8.5 (NBA)
Value: 3 Unit Play
Pick: Cleveland Browns +15.5 (NFL)
Value: 2 Unit Play
It ended up being a good Monday night. Great play on the over.
Yea, Monday was another good day. Glad to hear you cashed this one, Rob. I even picked an NBA winner for a change. I saw that the total moved to 40 at some books just before kickoff. I hope everyone was able to get the 38-39.5. If there wasn't so many red zone turnovers, the over would have hit a lot sooner. For those interested, I am working on Tuesday's card and I should have it posted around Noon (EST).
