Morning Everyone:

We had another 3-1 (+3.5 unit) day on Sunday. However, I think that a lot of member's picked up 7.5 units and went 4-1 on Sunday. In fact, I am sure they did. Most books were giving Tampa Bay 3.5 points on Sunday. I was even able to get this line as I made a mistake in posting the number before I actually put my action in. However, I will mark the game as a push, as that is how I posted it. Either way, we had another 10+ unit weekend and readers are continuing to profit from The Visionary's free sports picks. I really thought we were going to get the sweep with San Francisco, but some things aren't meant to be.

We are now on pace and just under 20 units away from our goal of 150 units by mid-to-late October. But, I am still in a lazy mood this morning and I'd rather just get right to the picks again for tonight. Maybe next week for the NFL betting tips. The Monday Night Football picks card is not very big. But, the card does feature another four-unit play. Let's keep things rolling and cash in another Monday night with these two...

Visionary's MLB & Monday Night Football Pick:

Pick: New Orleans Saints -3 (NFL)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: Tampa Bay Rays +115 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's daily free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck Tonight Everyone!!

There should be a betting rule:

"Never bet on a team with a Gramatica brother for a kicker."

Willmore,

Didn't hear from you this weekend. How are you?

No question that kickers were not our friend this weekend, from the Purdue kicker and now Gramtica. However, poor coaching and mental mistakes also cost us in this one. One of the bigger reasons that I went with the Saints in this one was because they have been taking good care of the ball lately and I liked their turnover margin in this matchup. Tonight that was not the case. Sean Peyton is also a highly overrated coach in my opinion and needs to learn how to act like a professional on the sidelines. I know Bush has his facemask grabbed on the one run where he fumbled, but for Peyton to keep screaming at the refs 5 plays later is just ridiculous. He should have been more concerned with all the mental mistakes his team was making. I am really not a fan of Peyton at all. The Saints are very undisciplined and are not fundamental enough to be a Superbowl contender this season.

However, we nailed the Rays at +115, picking up 2.3 units and making the day only a slight loss. We will get rolling again this week and get back to our quest of 150 units in October.
