Hello College Football Fans:

Last night's Connecticut @ Louisville was incredibly frustrating. We looked like we were right on schedule with our 4-unit play on the over (and the Cardinals) to hit and everything was going as planned. Everything was in motion, right up until the quarterbacks started to go down. Friday puts the college football record back into the red and sets us back another six and a half units. But, lets forget about that because The Visionary has a card of college football picks for Saturday that I am extremely excited about. I did a lot of handicapping all day yesterday and during the game last night. I spent more time on this card then I think I have for any set of picks all football season. Therefore, if any of you disagree with the picks, I honestly don't want to hear about it today. Nobody is forcing you to play these. I am determined to have a profitable Saturday today. If you don't like the picks, don't play em', but keep it to yourself. Whoever wants to jump on board, feel free; We'll see you at the cage. Here we go....

Visionary's Saturday NCAA Football Picks:

Pick: New Mexico State Aggies +3 (CFB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Illinois Fighting Illini +16 (CFB)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: Georgia Bulldogs -6.5 (CFB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Oklahoma State Cowboys -17 (CFB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Oklahoma Sooners -18.5 (CFB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Miami Hurricanes -7 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's daily free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

See You All Tomorrow For Another Big Card of NFL Football Picks!!

Good Luck!

Visionary,

I have been following your picks for about a month now, and was wondering what I should do when you post a play, for example Ill +18 vs Penn St. my book has is at +16...should I buy two points to make it +18?? Reason I'm asking because a few weeks ago you posted a play at -3 and the line moved to -4.5 and the team won by 4...the play won for you but ended up losing for me. Thanks for your help!

Good morning Marco! Good to see you and thanks for reading.

I'll tell ya what. I have been going over the Sunday NFL games for the past 3 hours. I don't know about you, but I am really pumped up for Saturday!

I made a mistake when posting the Illinois play. I actually got this line at 16 (not 18). I fixed the error. I recommend playing Illinois +16. As far as other line movements go, I can try my best, but I can not make recommendations for everyone when there are line movements. I will most likely be posting the overnight line as I usually bet my games late at night very early in the morning. So, check the blog first thing in the morning and you most likely will be able to get my line at more then one book. It's up to the reader to make their own judgements based on movements. However, I always recommend shopping for lines as I have stated in the Friday, 8/29/08 post and a few other times. I plan on going into further detail as far as shopping for lines and which books I recommend when I have more time.

I also have some outstanding sportsbook bonus offers as well as direct phone numbers to personal account reps. at some of the best books on the web. These are insider offers and contacts that are not available at most other sites. I plan to go into more detail and offer up some of these promotions and insider offers when this blog picks up pace. This blog is still an infant as far as I am concerned. I plan to grow it into a giant one day and I have the contacts in this industry to do just that.

As you can probably tell, I am typing about 200 words a minute right now! Can't wait for these Saturday games to start! Best of luck today. As always, I appreciate your readership.

You got me drinking the kool-aid Visionary and it tastes good! I was glad to see some of my own games I highlighted in your list so hopefully it's a big day for both of us as well as your readers.

Good luck boss!

Mez,

Sounds good! Let's cash em tonight. We're off to a good start as Miami is looking good; up 14-0. As I expected, this UNC football team can't score without Yates.

If Miami sures up their inside run defense they should be able to win this one going away. I've been impressed with their talent on offense.

I've been watching the Buckeyes game (born and bred to bleed Scarlet and Gray) and the Terrell Pryor era could be a profitable one for gamblers. This offense is just exponentially better since he's been given the green light to look down field, and it doesn't hurt when he and Beanie can combine for nearly 140 yards running in the first half.
