The Visionary's Sunday NFL Football Picks

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 66-47 (+82.45 Units / 58%)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 27-16 (+30.10 Units / 63%)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 22-20 (-1.30 Units / 52%)

Getting right to Sunday's NFL Picks as Saturday's results were very unsatisfactory and very discouraging. I am very frustrated with how Saturday unfolded. Yes, The Visionary is having a rough college football season thus far and it seems like I can't sustain any winning streaks for any extended periods. But, I have started slow in the college gridiron many times in the past and have turned it around to have great seasons. I apologize to any undisciplined players that unloaded on Saturday's card, but you shouldn't be doing that anyway. For the players that have been riding along for quite some time now; Keep the faith and keep managing your bankroll wisely. I will hit my October goal and I want you all on board when do. As I said in my reply to someone's comments yesterday; I am going to keep working and keep posting. If you guys want to ride along, that's up to you. But, I think you'll be dissapointed if you don't. I will get right to the NFL picks as I have a nice card of 4 plays ready to go. I feel extremely confident in the Sunday card. Hopefully we can bounce back and salvage a positive weekend with these NFL football picks....

Good Morning Players:

Another winning 2-1 (+5.2 Unit) Friday night where The Visionary nailed last night's college football matchup in Baylor and the double digit points. The Bears looked a lot like the improving young squad that I described in yesterday's post. The Visionary is really starting to really heat up, and at the right time too. It's about that time where we have a winning Saturday of college football picks and get this NCAA football bankroll back into the double-digits. I have been looking at this weekend's football schedule for about 2-3 hours every night since Tuesday and I am feeling really good about it. Got a big card of college football picks for Saturday and I am thinking big money today. Thinking sweep today boys. Getting right to the picks. Here they are...

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 66-47 (+82.45 Units / 58%)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 27-16 (+30.10 Units / 63%)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 19-16 (+3.00 Units / 54%)

Good Afternoon Sports Bettors:

How about that for a Thursday night? A very nice 3-0 (+9 Unit) sweep last night keeps things profitable heading into the weekend. Looks like we are getting things back on track after our rough weekend last week. Right now, we are at +115 units of total profit. I am setting a new goal of 165 units by October 20-30 which gives us just over month to pick up 50 additional units. I fee this a reasonable goal tht could be reached. I am not going to force anything in order to achieve this mark, but it gives us a long term target to shoot for. I am going to eventually start a graph that monitors The Visionary's bankroll. Feeling good about this upcoming weekend. I see a lot of sharp NFL and college football plays that I really like.

I really like my college football pick in the Baylor / Connecticut matchup tonight. Considering my recent slump in the college gridiron, I thought I would tell you a little bit about why I like this play. First off, I should tell you that I have been hearing a lot of positive things about Baylor from some college football insiders over the past few weeks. Baylor has an extremely talented freshman quarterback (Robert Griffin) and a nasty wide receiver (David Gettis) who should be very fun to watch tonight and could give the Connecticut defense some headaches. I also feel that Art Briles is slowly turning a corner with this program. They are an improving squad who has the young talent to maybee pull off the upset tonight. I am also not sure that the general public is aware of this Baylor team's potential and how much talent they really have. However, this is also Griffins first big, national TV game where he is truly under the spotlight. I am also not 100% sold on this team and they are still very weak in the secondary. But, Uconn is a run happy squad. The Huskies reluctance to throw the ball down field early in the game could keep Baylor in this one, even if the young Bears quarterback takes a quarter to get settled in. I would also feel a lot more comfortable with the opening number at 14. I do believe that it was sharp action that moved this line so quickly. The Bears cashed a big play for us last Friday where their game was overshadowed by the primetime Kansas/South Florida college football matchup. Let's see if they can do it for us once again tonight. I am also throwing two more MLB picks in the mix for Friday as the bases have been very profitable for us. So, here they are...The Visionary's Friday free sports picks...

Friday's MLB Baseball & NCAA Football Picks:

Pick: Baylor Bears +12.5 (CFB)

Pick: Milwaukee Brewers +110 (MLB)

Value: 2 Unit Play

Hello Players:

We had an unprofitable 2-2 Wednesday where we gave back about a half of a unit and put our college football bankroll into the red. I had a bad feeling about that college football matchup last night and I knew I was missing something. College football can be very difficult to handicap, especially early in the year as the numbers can be very deceiving. However, I feel much better about tonight's matchup. I was actually looking forward to this play since Monday. I will be playing tonight's college football game pretty big tonight. I also have two average baseball plays as I continue to kill it in the bases. Overall, feeling very good about the Thursday card.

Visionary's Thursday's MLB & NCAA Football Picks:

Pick: Colorado Buffalos +3 (CFB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Arizona Diaondbacks -115 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Los Angeles Angels -1.5 +135 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Good Afternoon Players:

Sorry for the really late post today. It's been kind of a busy week for me. But, we picked up another 5 units on Tuesday following a winning night on Monday. Perhaps this could be the start of another nice run. I don't have a lot of time to discuss the card today. So, I am going to get right to the picks. Not a very big card for Wednesday night. Something really seems wrong with the line in the football game tonight and I can't seem to figure out what it is. So, I will be putting an average play on the side that I like in tonight's college football matchup along with two baseball sides and one total move. Here they they are...

The Visionary's MLB Picks For Tuesday

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 59-45 (+70.70 Units / 57%)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 27-16 (+30.10 Units / 63%)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 18-15 (+1.30 Units / 55%)

Morning Sports Bettors,

Alright, well we picked up a small profit on Monday, although my total plays were completely off. One thing is for sure, the Eagle defense is not the same defense that it was two years ago when they had Trotter, Kerse, Lito Sheppard, etc.

Hopefully the day off from the gridiron will help as I am drawing up some new systems and going over the college and NFL football schedule very early in the week. I plan to seriously alter and turn around the results from last weekend and make us some money again this week. But again, losing weekends do happen and it's completely impossible to go 100%. I hope most of my readers understand that and are willing to stick out the tough weekends. But, you can correct me if I am wrong, but there is still 100 units of total profit up there on the record, is there not? I must be doing something right.

The goal in handicapping should be to make the hot streaks last longer then the cold streaks. It should always feel like work and feel as if you a griding out profits. There's no free lunch unless someone is willing to do the handicapping for you. That's where I come in guys. And, I am telling you that this is a fact; most sports services out there do not handicap at all. They spend way too much time on marketing to actually research games. They just throw plays out there for you to buy. Every last play that I post on here, I personally wager my own money on. So, when I am not winning, I am just as (if not more) unsatisfied as you are and nobody wants to turn things around more then I do.

Let's try to get a few units back in the bases tonight. No big plays for Tuesday. Here are this evenings Major League Baseball picks...

Visionary's Tuesday Major League Baseball Picks:

Pick: Kansas City Royals -110 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Cleveland Indians +1.5 +100 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Pittsburgh Pirates +1.5 +100 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Philadelphia Phllies -130 (MLB)
Value: 1 Unit Play

Sorry guys. Again, not much to say about Sunday's (and this weekend's) performance except that I am glad it's over. No excuses. A very frustrating weekend overall where we gave a lot back to the books and misread a lot of the information. I am not the least bit pleased about this weekend's results. But, it does happen. Sometimes things just don't go your way. At least the haters didn't flood the comments yesterday. I'm going to get right to Monday night's card in high hopes of turning this thing around and getting back to our winning ways....
