2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 52-42 (+60.70 Units)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 19-10 (+24.50 Units)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 10-7 (+7.00 Units)

Good Morning Football Betting Fanatics:

Well, we gave a few more back again as Navy didn't do us any favors on Friday. Friday makes it two nights in a row where stalled drives, teams settling for field goals, and poor coaching cost us money. Everyone in America saw that 4th and 1 play coming as Navy they kept running it over and over. Also, the new running clock rule is really making it hard for these games to reach some of the higher set totals. I am still trying to figure out how much they are factoring in the new rule when setting the over/unders. When Navy scored on the opening drive of the second half, I was 100% sure that game was going over last night. I was also feeling very good about the Navy play all game until that demoralizing 4th quarter. Again, I would take Navy and the seven points again if they played that one again. However, we did hit both of our baseball picks with ease. But, it's time to snap out of this football rut before we sink into the red with the NCAA football picks.

I can feel it; The Visionary promises that better days are ahead as we enter the second Saturday of college football action. I have a pretty big card of college football picks for today. There are a few underdog picks for today, games where the matchups look fairly even and it seems to me that the oddsmakers are setting lines based on public perception. There are actually quite a few attractive dogs on the Saturday board that I really like. I also have a total play in one obscure college football matchup. I feel very confident about Saturday's NCAA football card and this should get us right back on track. Here we go...

Visionary's Saturday College Football Picks:

Pick: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +7 (CFB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Syracuse Orangemen -4.5 (CFB)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: East Carolina Pirates +7.5 (CFB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: No. Illinois @ W. Michigan Under 53 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Washington Huskies +9 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Air Force Falcons +3 (CFB)
Value: 1 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck!

The Visionary's Friday MLB Picks & College Football Picks for Friday Night!

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 50-42 (+56.60 Units)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 19-10 (+24.50 Units)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 10-4 (+15.70 Units)

Good Morning Football Betting Fanatics:

Last night wasn't our best work as we gave just over 2 units back to the books. I'll gladly take the over in that matchup if they had to play it again. I am not that upset with myself as the Giants settled for a lot of field goals. Boy, is Eli Manning looked at under a totally new microscope after winning a Superbowl. Sorry Giants fans, but he looked mediocre last night, in my opinion. Maybe I am being overly critical, but I also want to play devil's advocate to all the sports personalities who are going to be pumping up the Giants fans today. The first drive was outstanding and I thought we were going to get another outstanding performance from Manning and the Giants offense. After that first series, the drives began to stall and Eli made a lot of mistakes in the second half. But, you will not hear a single commentator say a negative thing about Eli ever again. That game should not have been even close and the Giants should have scored a lot more then 16 points. On another note, the Redskins looked bad and Jim Zorn maybe in over his head as an NFL headcoach just a little bit. The playcalling was pitiful from the Skins and they did not look like they were ready for that game at all.

Again, not a great Thursday and opening night in the NFL. However, usually we bounce back after a losing day and we plan on bouncing back tonight. I like this game a lot and am going to put a big play on it tonight. Navy can hang with this Ball State team and perhaps even win the game outright. I am also going to to put a small play on the moneyline and play the total in this one as well. I am expecting a back and forth shootout in this matchup. I also have two average baseball picks for Friday as well.

So, here are The Visionry's college football picks and baseball picks for Friday night...

Visionary's Friday MLB & NCAA Football Picks:

Pick: Navy Midshipmen +7 (CFB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Navy @ Ball State Over 60.5 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Florida Marlins +105 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -125 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Navy Midshipmen +250 (CFB)
Value: 1 Unit Play

The Visionary's Opening Night NFL Picks & Other Free Picks For Thursday

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 50-41 (+58.60 Units)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 18-9 (+26.90 Units)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 9-4 (+13.70 Units)

Hello My Football Betting Friends:

Ladies and gentlemen, NFL football has finally arrived!! If you played the baseball picks last night, then you went 2-0 and picked up 7 units of profit once again, as The Visionary continues to destroy the books. I am going to continue to toot my own horn today because this is my blog and I am making my readers lots of money on a consistent basis. I am also doing this 100% free of charge. So, if I want to boast my blog a little bit, I will.

I challenge you to find any sports handicapping service in the entire world that has shown these numbers over the past two months. Go ahead and search the monitors, which are mostly scams themselves who couldn't cut it as handicappers and are just trying to cash in from other services. But, you will not find a single service on any monitor that has shown the numbers that I have shown since I started this blog. The reason for this is that most handicapping services do not care weather they win or lose. Sure, there are a select few (maybe 2%) that care. And, out of that 2%, there is probably about 2 out of every 10 that actually knows how to handicap and what it really entails. I have yet to actually meet a handicapper in person that I thought knew more about picking winners then I do. I am stating facts here.

Anyway, after a very profitable NFL Football preseason, we carry about 27 units of total NFL profit info the 2008 regular season. I am hoping that things will continue to move at this pace. I am very confident that they will. I have a pretty big play on tonight's NFL total that I feel the betting public is completely misinformed about. I will also give you a side play in the the NFL football matchup tonight, although I am not that excited about it. It's too early in the season to be betting big money matchups like this. I will also give you my college football pick for tonight, but again, not a big play. I am also going to throw in a small baseball underdog play that I like. So, all and all, this is a semi-big card for tonight. Here it is...

Visionary's Opening Night Free NFL Picks:

Pick: Redskins @ Giants Over 41 (NFL)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: New York Giants -4 (NFL)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Vanderbilt Commodores +10 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Pick: Washington Nationals +115 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Remember to always find the sportsbook with the best line!

2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 18-9 (+26.90 Units)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 9-4 (+13.70 Units)

Good Morning Sports Bettors:

Overall, we had a very profitable Labor day weekend. I would have been an even better weekend if Rutgers hadn't shot themselves in the foot about ten times in the first half yesterday. That was a very frustrating game to watch. Not much of a schedule today. No football today either. Just two days away from the start of the NFL football season! There wasn't too much on the baseball board that sparked my interest either. Too many inflated lines. However, I do have two baseball plays today. Here they are...

The Visionary's Tuesday Free Sports Picks:
Pick: Cincinnati Reds -150 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Minnesota Twins -120 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

Not a lot of time to talk or post any advice today. Not much to talk about anyway..oh yea, other then the fact that I am completely dominating the books and there isn't a single sports handicapping service on the Internet that is off to the start that I am. Did you all like that 2-0 day with Kentucky and Colorado?...both of which were complete laughers? I plan to keep doing this all football season. Therefore, if you want to lose your money, go pay a scamdicapper service on the web. If you want to actually make money for a change this year, stick with The Visionary. Best of all...I won't ask for a single dime of your winnings. Anyway, no more time to waste. The Visionary has a tee time today! The Visionary's Free NCAA Football Picks & Betting Advice For Sunday, 8/31/2008

2008 MLB Baseball Picks Record: 48-39 (+57.10 Units)
2008 NFL Football Picks Record: 18-9 (+26.90 Units)
2008 NCAA Football Picks Record: 6-3 (+9.00 Units)

Welcome Sports Betting Friends:

Ehhh...Even though we picked up just over a unit and went 3-2 on Saturday with the college football picks, I was rather disappointed with my handicapping results. The reason for this is that the two games we lost weren't even close and it could have been a lot worse. I should take that as a sign and not go so heavy during the first week or two. I could have cost us some serious cash on Saturday. However, I am very glad things turned out alright. It also would have been nice if Clemson came to play. They should have stayed home.

As I stated on Thursday...or Friday (one of the two days), you shouldn't base too much of your action on what you see in previous college and NFL football seasons. Watch as many football teams play as possible, and get some new perspective before diving in.

This brings me to my daily advice....The Visionary's NFL and college football betting tip for today: Always remember that sports handicapping includes watching the teams play on television to get an idea of what they are capable of. When I say watch the teams, that doesn't mean watching highlights on Sportscenter or College Gameday. Watch the actual games and learn at least one thing about each team's defense, offense, and special teams every time you watch an NFL or NCAA football game.

Players, we are not going to overdo it on Sunday. None of you should be betting close to what you wagered overall yesterday on these two games. Like the NFL Sunday & Monday night games, these are the very games that the sportsbooks make a killing from. These are the games where bettors try to dig themselves out of a hole by loading up on the last two games of the week. Sportsbooks and bookies love the fact that players are using these games to dig themselves out of a rut. They make a killing on vig alone with these matchups.

Try to look at the football rotation schedule as a whole and forget about which day is which. And, if you feel that you want to play the game because it's the only game on the board and need a bit of a thrill, play it small and don't parlay, tease, or make prop bets...you'll just be pissing your heard earned cash away! I know that's a lot easier said then done for some people and I know a lot of people know this already, but it never hurts to be reminded or to remind yourself to play smart. I like when people remind me to do the things that I should be doing.

Anyway, one of the two college football games today caught my eye when I was looking at the board on Friday night. I was rather looking forward to this one. This and a small play in the other game is going to do it for Sunday. I am not in the mood to wreck a good thing that I have going in the bases by forcing a play that I am unsure of. Here are the two NCAA football picks for Sunday...

The Visionary's Sunday, 8/30/08 Free Picks:
Pick: Colorado Buffalos -11 (CFB)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: Kentucky Wildcats +3 (CFB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Again, get the best line possible for these two!

Good Luck!
