MLB Baseball Picks: Friday, August 1, 2008

Happy Friday Bettors:

If I am not mistaken, Thursday's (1-1) +1.5 unit profit makes The Visionary's record just under 40 units in two weeks. I have posted two full weeks of plays and only posted TWO losing days out of FOURTEEN! If that doesn't convince you, then I don't know what will. Just so you guys know, I will never ask for a dime for these picks. I will be posting here forever and the picks will always be free. There are so many idiots out there on the Internet today that think they know how to handicap but don't even understand the meaning of the word. Handicapping doesn't mean looking at a matchup report on Covers and picking a game or two. That not handicapping. 90% of the sports handicapping services out there don't have a clue how to handicap and majority of them are complete fools that have never even had a profitable month of picks, no less a season. Stick with me and I will continue to guide you toward the winners and I will do my work free of charge for everyone. I will always work my hardest and use all my handicapping knowledge to come up with the best plays possible. Comments on my plays are always welcome. If anyone out there is cashing in on these with me and wants to say thanks, feel free to comment on anything at all. As for Friday, I have a BIG 5 Unit play that I love tonight. Here it goes fellas...

2008 MLB Current Record: 24-17 (+39.60 Units)

Friday's Major League Baseball Picks:

Pick: Boston Red Sox -150 (MLB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: Los Angeles Angels -120 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Colorado Rockies -110 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free baseball picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Good Luck!

Manny Ramirez Trade: Visionary's Two Cents

Before, I make this post, I just want to state that I am not a Sox fan and today's Rod Sox play is completely coincidental. I also want to give my two cents on the Manny to "La La Land" for Jason Bay, only because all the radio talk show hosts are just annoying the hell out of me on this one. I must have heard about 10 different radio hosts ripping on the Sox and saying shit like "an emotional trade by the Red Sox where they just got worse." Theo Epstein is smarter then all the sports talk radio idiots out there combined. I am not a Red Sox fan by any means. In fact, I don't like them at all. Wait...I hate the Sox! But, I know a well run baseball team when I see one. And, I know a talented baseball team when I see one. Boston really does have the best front office in baseball (yes, better then Oakland). They are going to look like geniuses when this is all said and done. Of course, the talk show hosts won't admit that they got it wrong, just like they did with previous Boston trades and signings (J.D. Drew, Pedro, Damon, Ortiz, etc....) This Sox team still looks like the best team in baseball to me and I don't see anyone in the AL right now (besides maybe Angels) that can stop them. Forget the Yankees as they still don't have the starting pitching and the Ray's bats will fall apart. Once again, you will see another Boston AL East title in September and I will directly link to this post when they do it again. Also enjoy watching Manny's number decline; maybe not this year, but over the next 2 or 3 years you'll be watching his career wind down, while Jason Bay will play a solid role in the Sox organization for a few years. No doubt Manny is a force at the plate, but he just isn't worth it anymore and he is not going to like playing the outfield in National League ballparks. I may sound like a Sox fan here and I know I took the Sox today, but trust me...I am very far far away from being Red Sox fan.

MLB Baseball Picks: Thursday, July 31, 2008

Good Moring Everyone:

There's another winning day, making it 6 in a row. In fact, I have only had 3 losing days since starting this blog at the beginning of July. Anyone convinced that I know what I am doing? Anyone even reading this blog. My intention was to help sports bettors play starter plays instead of just dumping their money into the books, which is about all that happens these days with all the junk services and garbage free picks sites out there. I sure hope some people are getting a profitable July from these picks. I have lot of football winners in the upcoming fall months. Anyway, there is nothing that jumped out at me when I was looking over Thursday's board last night. Therefore, I will stay small and go with two underdogs again. Here they are....

2008 MLB Current Record: 23-16 (+38.10 Units)

Thursday's Major League Baseball Picks:
Pick: Milwaukee Brewers +130 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Los Angeles Angels +150 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free baseball picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

MLB Baseball Picks: Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Good Morning Sports Bettors:

Well, I don't think it's possible for us to have a losing day if I tried. We picked up another 7-units on Tuesday night, putting us up over 36 units. What can I say...When you are hot you're hot. However, I am not really in love with Wednesday's schedule. I do have 2 way overpriced underdog dog baseball picks that should at least turn a 1-1 profit. Here thy are....

2008 MLB Current Record: 22-15 (+36.45 Units)

Wednesday's Major League Baseball Picks:
Pick: Baltimore Orioles +250 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Los Angeles Angels +155 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free baseball picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)

Bounced Payout Checks at Sportsbook.com

There have been hundreds of reports where payout checks from player's Sportsbook.com accounts are bouncing at the bank when they go to deposit their winnings. This has been happening to many players and it has been happening all month during July. This is based on actual evidence and you will not hear about this report on most gambling sites because most of these sites are being paid by sportsbook.com to advertise their product and will cover it up. Yes, even those so called "watchdogs" such as SBR (Sportsbook Review), The RX, and Covers will happily take large money or cash "donations" for good ratings. This has also happened to a personal friend of mine (who makes money betting my picks) along with other acquaintances that I know online. Warning: If you have made a cash-out at Sportsbook.com in the form of a check or any other method, do not spend the money until you are sure the check has cleared and you have the full monetary value in liquid.

Sure, the sportsbook will say to the customer that they will fix it and probably send most of them a new check. But, I guarantee the ones who make a lot of money and don't notice the check bouncing or don't report the issue, won't be getting a new check. Also what about the player who needed that money to pay his bills. Sure, he's an idiot for betting his money that he needs to live, but he's screwed until he gets his new check from "The Worlds Largest Sportsbook (that's short on cash)". I wonder if sportsbook.com will reimburse him the late fees on his bills and the bank fee for depositing a bounced check.

If anyone has any reports of sportsbook issues or problems with any online sportsbook, please report them to me and I will be happy to look into the issue for you as I do have some connections out there and I also know the sports betting industry very well. I will be happy to post and share any major findings with the general public of any wrongdoings or scams by the major sportsbook conglomerates. These companies make millions of dollars from the US betting public and there is nobody truly monitoring or any standards over these outfits. These companies do not need to and should not be ripping off players.

Also, If anyone needs some additional advice or information regarding the sportsbooks in the industry today or just needs help selecting a sportsbook, please be sure to contact me and I will be more then happy to share my extensive knowledge and give you honest opinions and practical advice.

I recommend opening an account at JustBet Sportsbook. You can get a 100% bonus (From $100 up to $500 max) exclusively from The Visionary at JustBet. MLB Baseball Picks: Tuesday, July 29, 2008

Hello Players:

Well, no posting errors on Monday....just a 2-1 +6.95 unit day from he Visionary. We have done in just two weeks of betting what most sports handicappers are incapable of doing in an entire season...and all the picks were 100% free. There are hundreds of thousands of people who purchased losing baeball selections all week last week from handicapping services that have absolutely no idea how to handicap (millions during football season). The truth is that successful handicapping can be achieved by anyone. You just have to be willing to put in the work and you have to know how to use the law of averages to your advantage. Most handicapping services use all their resources on marketing and not actual handicapping. Seriously, why would they spend any time researching picks when they could be out finding customers. Fact: To any handicapping service, losing day with 25 customers is more valuable then a winning day with 2 customers. Stick with The Visionary and my free picks here and you will do better the 90% of the handicapping services out there. Here we go for Tuesday...

2008 MLB Current Record: 20-14 (+29.50 Units)

Tuesday's Major League Baseball Picks:

Pick: Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 +120 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Baltimore Orioles +155 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Minnesota Twins -1.5 +160 (MLB)
Value: 4 Unit Play

MLB Baseball Picks: Monday, July 28, 2008

Good Morning Sports Bettors:

I hope everyone had a good weekend. If you played with me, you had a profitable one. I said our goal for Sunday was to grind out a winning day, which we did, going 2-1 (+1.25 units). However, yesterday I made my first "Blog Boo Boo" of my blog posting career. In fact, I made two of them. The first mistake wasn't that bad which was me accidentally deleting Saturday's plays post. However, the current record is still up to date and all plays are included. The second error was a big one as the White Sox were only supposed to be a 3 unit play. When I said that we didn't want to press or get greedy on Sunday, that didn't mean that we should play a 5-unit pick. I apologize as Sunday should have been a much more profitable day for you all, instead of just picking up 1.25 units. We should have picked up 4.25 units. I bet the game according to how I played them, but I apologize for that mistake. I am not sure how many readers I have right now anyway. I would feel a lot worse if we had a lot and we didn't win the other two 3-unit plays. I hope that we get more readers soon as I have been destroying my sportsbooks. My BetUS account has reached it's highest balance in over 2 years. Remember that you can get a 100% bonus ($100 to $500) exclusively at BetUS from The Visionary if you signup at BetUS using this link and mention The Visionary's blog when registering. This is an exclusive bonus not offered on many other sites. If you need help with getting you 100% bonus, you can contact me at VisionaryPicks (AT) Yahoo.com. First person to post a commen on this blog gets a special treat from the Visionary!

2008 MLB Current Record: 18-13 (+22.55 Units)

Monday's Major League Baseball Picks:

Pick: Kansas City Royals +1.5 -180 (MLB)
Value: 4 Unit Play

Pick: Baltimore Orioles +165 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Boston Red Sox -1.5 +155 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

MLB Baseball Picks: Sunday, July 27, 2008

Good Morning Sports Bettors:

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Every hot streak must eventually come to an end. It's completely impossible to win em' all. The law of averages will always catch to to you...always. With that in mind, let's not get too fancy or too greedy today. We'll just try to grind out another winning day and get back on track. Sound good? I am also going to make a move on the Sunday Night Baseball Yanks/Sawks matchup. Here we go...

2008 MLB Current Record: 16-12 (+21.30 Units)

Sunday's Major League Baseball Picks:
Pick: Chicago White Sox +120 (MLB)
Value: 5 Unit Play

Pick: San Francisco Giants +125 (MLB)
Value: 3 Unit Play

Pick: Boston Red Sox -1.5 +125 (MLB)
Value: 2 Unit Play

(The Visionary's free sports picks are rated on a 1-5 unit scale)
